Management

CTC Cable Corporation is run by a dedicated, highly capable management team, with decades of experience in the development, growth and operation of technology companies. The staff includes exceptional experience in the development and use of composite materials and the application of those materials to real world problems. The team has guided CTC Cable through the process of product development, manufacturing, product placement, customer acceptance and now rapid sales growth, with their combined skills in business, technical, application, and marketing.
 

Management Team

Jason Huang – Chief Executive Officer

Jason Huang (Ph.D., P.E.), Chief Executive Officer, CTC Cable Corporation

Mr. Huang has over twenty years of experience in the composites industry. He received his B.S. degree in China (ceramic insulators for high voltage power grid). Upon graduation, he was awarded the prestigious National Fellowship for Graduate Studies Aboard, and earned his M.S. (UCLA) and Ph.D. (The Ohio State University) in materials science and engineering. Jason has extensive experience in composite materials, including fiberglass and carbon fiber composites. He joined CTC from BAE Systems where he was most VP of Engineering. Prior to BAE Systems, Jason was the Director of R&D for Americas and Pacific Rim at Cytec Engineered Materials, Senior Manager at Goodrich for High Temperature Composites, and project manager at Owens Corning. He has successfully managed the development and commercialization of dozens of multi-million dollar technology programs, including composite, alternative energy and fiber optic sensor technologies. Jason has an MBA from The Fisher College of Business (OSU), and currently serves on the Editorial Board of Acta Materiae Compositae Sinica (the Chinese Composite Journal)

Marvin Sepe – Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Sepe joined the company that became CTC Cable in February 2006. He formerly served as a President of CTC Cable Corporation and DeWind, Inc. He has over twenty-five years of experience as President, Executive Vice President or division head with a successful track record of building early stage and mezzanine level companies, developing and introducing new products, developing international manufacturing and operations, establishing distribution channels, strategic partnerships, and capital raises. He also has extensive experience in high technology manufacturing, including the establishment and management of multiple off-shore operations. Mr. Sepe has a keen understanding of tightly controlled production operations and the necessity for full integration of all company systems into an effective operating unit. Prior to joining CTC Mr. Sepe held the positions of President of JMAR Semiconductor Inc, and Director of Programs and Business Development for the Components International subsidiary of TRW. Mr. Sepe has an undergraduate degree in Metallurgical Engineering and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. 

Domonic J. Carney – Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Carney has over nineteen years of professional finance, operations and accounting experience with a proven track record in early stage, start up and publicly traded technology, manufacturing and distribution companies. He has demonstrated the ability to build sound financial reporting and scalable business systems necessary to meet the needs of high growth companies. Mr. Carney is a CPA with substantial experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, M&A, and both venture and public financings. Prior to joining CTC Cable, he was Director of Finance for Danka Office Imaging, a publicly traded distributor of networked office equipment. He also served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for Andale, Inc. an eBay auction tools company, as Director of Finance for SoftNet Systems, Inc., a publicly traded Internet access company and as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Carney has a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College, and a Masters in Accounting from Northeastern University. 

David Bryant – Vice President of Technology Adoption

Mr. Bryant has over twenty-five years of experience in the composites industry. Prior to joining CTC in March of 2003, Mr. Bryant served as Vice President of Engineering for American Structural Composites, Inc., a company he co-founded in 1995. During the earlier 1990's he served as Executive Vice President of Nevatech Industries, Inc., a defense contractor specializing in aerospace components and radomes. Prior to 1990, Mr. Bryant worked as a design engineer specializing in composite structures that included aircraft, watercraft, automotive, and other industrial applications. In 1999, Mr. Bryant received the Composite Industries' highest accolade, "The Award for Composites Excellence," after introducing his patented building technology to an international market.

Kevin Price – Director of Operations

Mr. Price assumed the position of Director of Operations of CTC Cable in March 2010. Mr. Price has over 20 years of experience in General Management and Operations for complex manufacturing companies in several industries. He has a strong track record of transforming manufacturing companies into highly performing and highly profitable organizations utilizing world class manufacturing concepts such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Prior to joining CTC Cable Mr. Price served as VP Operations and General Manager of ASML Thermal Division, a semi conductor capital equipment design and manufacturing company, Corporate VP of Operation for Master Halco, a large fencing products manufacturing and distribution company, and VP Operations for RGB Spectrum, a leading designer and manufacturer of videographic products for audio-visual, industrial, medical, and military applications. Mr. Price received a BSET Degree from Cal Poly Pomona and an MBA from the University of La Verne.

Dominic Majendie – Vice President of International Marketing

Mr. Majendie originally trained in law in Geneva, Switzerland before spending seventeen years working in the management of high growth technology and telecommunications companies in Europe, North America and the Middle East. Mr. Majendie has held a variety of senior managerial positions, including Chairman of the Board, Managing Director, Marketing Manager, Legal Counsel and Financial Director. He is known for his analysis and ability to formulate and execute difficult strategic plans in a variety of industries and markets. He has been instrumental in formulating the strategy for the introduction of ACCC® conductors. He lives in Europe and speaks four languages.

Julie A. Couillard – Director of Transmission Engineering

Julie A. Couillard, P.E., Director of Transmission Engineering, CTC Cable Corporation

Ms. Couillard has over 20 years of management experience in engineering, maintenance, construction, and operations organizations in the electric power industry. She also has a strong background in strategic planning, engineering analysis, root cause investigation, project management, personnel management, and fiscal responsibility. Ms. Couillard was one of the leaders of the nation's first independent transmission company, Trans-Elect, Inc. There, she developed and executed their first acquisition’s (Michigan Electric Transmission Company, LLC or METC) start-up activities, business plans, and strategic outlook, and was responsible for managing the company's daily operational, financial, and business functions. Before joining Trans-Elect and METC, Ms. Couillard worked for the City of Anaheim, California, as its transmission and distribution manager ,where she was responsible for standards development, design engineering, equipment specifications, root-cause analysis, and strategic planning activities. Ms. Couillard also held numerous leadership positions in the transmission, distribution, and substation areas at Exelon Corporation in Chicago, including overseeing a $500 million transmission and substation maintenance, engineering, and construction budget. She also managed one of the largest worldwide transmission cable replacement projects, totaling $55 million. Among many responsibilities, she was in charge of an engineering team, product research, equipment specification development, design engineering, and installation activities for the upgrade of four major underground transmission lines within the City of Chicago. Julie is a registered professional engineer and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University and an MBA from DePaul University.

David Ayers – Director of Field Applications

Mr. Ayers is a seasoned executive with forty-three years of experience in electrical transmission/distribution construction and the electrical utility industry with proven accomplishments in field application, safety and business development. He develops and implements training programs in safety and installation of medium and high voltage conductors used throughout the world to electrical utilities, engineering firms, and electrical construction companies.
